I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Daryl, for 35 years. A boy-mom of three wonderful sons; we have 2 amazing daughters-in-law and I am Nana to 3 beautiful grandbabies. My favorite thing is to be in their presence.

A former farm girl, a homebody and a scrapbooker; I adore young people. I am not a fan of being outside in hot weather, big crowds or eating tomatoes.

I experience Jesus in the presence of the wonderful leadership team of ladies that make up Inspire as well as with the amazing women from different backgrounds and denominations that comprise the Inspire Community. I am so very thankful to have found Inspire as it fills a void I didn’t even realize I had.

Being somewhat of a control freak and trying to learn to let go, I lean in to Isaiah 40:31. “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” God constantly shows up for me in big and small ways. I am in awe that He loves me despite my hard-headedness and all my short-comings, constantly showering grace and mercy upon me.

I love doing life with those at Capital City Christian Church in Jefferson City.
