The Heart Retreat

Our first annual Heart Retreat took place in November (2012) featuring keynote speakers, Heather Gillion and Holly Snell of Dancing on My Ashes, national speaker Susan Jaramillo, and Inspirational woman, Julie Stout Davenport. Our worship was led by Heidi Neely.

The weekend was spent in a warm lodge, full of love, at Windermere Baptist Conference Center. Ladies participated in A Little Inspiration, breakouts with options including jewelry making, nature walk, and learning how to craft a terrarium. A highlight was a spa on sight sponsored by Heads Up Salon, as well as Good and Perfect Gifts running a store in our all inclusive lodge. Tony of Three Story Coffee ran a bistro and served all the ladies well! At the Inspire Her Giveaway we were able to bless a nominated inspirational woman in need of inspiration with over $5000 of gifts from sponsors!

Beyond the logistics, words can hardly convey the spirit of unity and love that we all experienced. God’ presence was felt and hearts were touched. Here is what some people had to say about the Heart Retreat:
